I use Swerve natural sugar substitute in many of my baked goods recipes. I always have a bag of both regular and confectioner’s texture (Baker’s Bundle) in my pantry, so that I can make myself something sweet at any time.

Here Are Some Swerve Facts:

  • Zero Calories
  • All Natural – Nothing Artificial
  • Measures Like Sugar
  • Tastes Like Sugar
  • Diabetes Friendly

Swerve is a great tasting, natural sweetener that measures cup-for-cup just like sugar! Made from a unique combination of non-GMO ingredients derived from fruits and vegetables, Swerve contains no artificial ingredients, preservatives or flavors. Now how awesome is that?

Swerve is non-glycemic and therefore safe for those living with diabetes or high resting blood sugar. Human clinical trials have shown that Swerve does not affect blood glucose or insulin levels (a really good thing).

Why You’re Gonna Love Swerve?

Swerve is made of a combination of erythritol and oligosaccharides that provide excellent baking and cooking functionality. And with the ability to brown and caramelize (I see Sugar Free Creme Brulee in my future…), Swerve is gonna be right at home in your kitchen. There are no conversion chars needed when baking and cooking with Swerve. If your recipe calls for a half cup of sugar … you simply replace it with a half cup of Swerve. That makes me super-happy!

More About The Ingredients Of Swerve…

Erythritol is made by fermenting glucose with Moniliella pollinis (a natural microorganism found in honeycomb) which breaks down glucose and yields erythritol. Erythritol also naturally occurs in many fruits and vegetables like melons, grapes, asparagus as well as fermented foods. Erythritol is classified by the FDA as a zero calorie, 4-carbon sugar alcohol that does not affect blood sugar.

Oligosaccharides are sweet, non-digestible carbohydrates extracted from fruit and vegetable sources. They are similar to fiber and can help stimulate beneficial bacteria in the large intestine.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that I can have my cupcakes and eat them too!
