Lisa, I would like to start by simply saying: “Thank you”.
You may not realize it, but with your help and your easy to follow program, I now have a new lease on life. I was on a downward spiral before I met with you. I had been on every weight loss program imaginable. Some diets you may not have even heard of. Weigh in, Lean Line, Weight Watchers, Atkins, Medifast, Slimfast and I even tried the Richard Simmons program. I’ve seen nutritionists, doctors, I’ve even tried starvation type diets, none of which had long term results. I’ve lost and gained well over 500 pounds in my lifetime.

On December 1, 2013 my daughter celebrated her engagement with a party at a local restaurant, as a result of this celebration and the pictures that were taken, it became apparent to me that I needed to make a serious change in my life. (That’s the before picture that I’ve sent you!) After seeing these photos and looking at myself I realized that there would be little chance that I would have a future with my grandchildren. If I was lucky enough to live to see grandchildren I probably wouldn’t be healthy enough to enjoy them.

On Monday, December 2, 2013 I began searching the internet for local doctors or nutritionists for help. The first 2 calls I made were with diet centers operated by medical doctors. I made an appointment with the first to discuss surgical options, but the appointment was 3 weeks away. I didn’t want to wait so I called the second office, they also only had appointments 2 – 3 weeks away, so I continued to search. Fortunately for me, you were my next call. You gave me hope on the phone and an appointment for a consultation in just a few days.

When we met I was feeling a little down and probably had a very negative attitude. Although I was searching for help, I already knew everything there is to know about dieting! And there was not much I thought you could teach me, but…you listened to me and when I was done telling you all the reasons that I always failed at diets and how you probably couldn’t really help me. You looked at me and confidently said: “Just give me two weeks, and I promise you, if you do what I say, you will lose weight, and you will be able to achieve your goals”

Well….you know what? It worked! You were able to teach me something that I have never before been able to learn, how to brake the addiction that I’ve had to sugar. Sweets and junk food have had such a strong hold on me that I could not help myself, I rarely passed a 7-Eleven, or stopped for gas without getting a candy bar or bag of chips only to wash it down with a soda or sweet tea. I would stop on my way home from work for fast food or pizza and then go home and have dinner! I was out of control, I had absolutely no will power.

Unbelievable as it may sound, with your little secret, that you so kindly shared with me, It was amazingly simple to follow the program of foods that you gave me. Believe it or not, I even found myself baking sugar free, low carb cookies for myself and bringing them with me to parties and out to dinner just so I could have dessert when dining with friends.

Bottom line….I’ve lost 77 pounds so far. I started with you in early December, 2013 at a weight of 317 pounds and currently I’m weighing in at 240 eight months later. My goal is 210 and I’m confident I’ll get there.

My wife has also been following along with me and she has made this new way of life so much easier by preparing great meals and keeping all the right kinds of foods in the house. Even my kids are eating healthier as a result of your list of acceptable foods on the website. By the way, my wife has lost almost 40 pounds so far.

My journey with Lisa Marie Rosati.

At first I was very shy and not so comfortable talking to someone that I did not know. Lisa quickly made me feel good about myself and was able to understand everything we were talking about!

When we started our sessions, I had an issue with my weight. I wanted to be the healthiest person I could be, I was partaking in a lot of sports and eating a plant based diet (I was underweight and looking unhealthy). Lisa taught me to change my way of living, and help me understand that I shouldn’t live on solely fruits and vegetables. I told her that I didn’t want to consume any dairy and animal product (except for fish). She listened very carefully and advised me on what supplement or alternatives to take and why it was so important for my health, (in any case she never pushed me to eat meat or any other animal product). The supplements that Lisa told me to take (multivitamin/omega 3..) and protein (tofu, lentils.) helped me to feel a little better and more energetic but I knew I needed more. I was still feeling tired.

After working with me every month, Lisa knew how stressful and anxious I was all the time. She suggested me to start practicing yoga and meditation, which I did. I found the meditation an amazing way of releasing and managing my stress.

Two weeks before one of our sessions, I had very painful headaches and had not idea what it could be. I was about to go to the doctor when Lisa told me that it was tension headache. She recommended that I buy peppermint essential oil and massage it on the two sides of my face. The pain went away in one day, I was so impressed. It was like if she knew me so well!

Nowadays, I am starting to include more animal protein into my diet like free range eggs, fish and Greek yogurt. I feel much more energetic.

After seeing how Lisa managed to help me, I learned how important it is to have a wellness coach.

She helped me to get healthier (not the way I thought I was at the beginning!) and I couldn’t be more thankful!
