I found this recipe on one of my favorite websites to find low carb recipes, djfoodie.com. This tastes like a cross between American Cheesecake, Cream Cheese Frosting and Candy and it’s SUGAR FREE!
Quick to prepare and delicious, this dessert makes me smile!
Be sure to purchase little ramekins or have small containers to divide the Mousse into, a little serving size is all you need to satisfy your sweet tooth!
It stores nicely in the refrigerator, just be sure to lid or cover the little containers.
8 ounces cream cheese, full fat and room temperature
1/2 cup Swerve Sugar Substitute (buy Swerve here)
a dash of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup whipping cream
- Add the first four ingredients to a food processor.
- Turn on the food processor.
- With the processor running, add the cream in a medium-slow and deliberate steady stream. This will “whip” the cream with the cream cheese. This will add air and will result in something like a cheesecake “mousse”, once it chills.
- Portion into cups and eat when chilled!
