Here is a delish and simple breakfast porridge recipe that’s contains a superfood (chia seeds), is grain free, has oodles of fiber, is sugar free, and takes less than 5 minutes to make! What more could you want in a recipe?

I use all different types of berries when making this recipe or sometimes I even omit the berries. Today I used blueberries. Try adding some chopped nuts or nut butter for extra protein and healthy, brain boosting fats or a dash of cinnamon or a little vanilla extract for a more complex flavor! YUM…

This is YOUR porridge – have it your way!


2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons flax seed meal
2 teaspoons Erythritol sweetener (I used Swerve)
1/3 cup hot water (off the boil)
2 tablespoons heavy cream or half & half, organic (optional)
2 tablespoons nut butter (optional)
berries (optional)


  1. In a small bowl, stir together chia seed, flax seed meal, and erythritol.
  2. Add hot water, stir and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in cream and any other ingredients your using.
  4. Enjoy!
